Creating Certificates – The Process

As a registered agent, Trade in Green must ensure that all paperwork meet the strict compliance regulations set by various governing bodies. Please refer to our terms and conditions.

STC Lodgement

In order to assign the certificates for creation by Trade In Green, system owners are required to follow the steps below and email  to Trade In Green (please note installers claiming STC please use our FormBay online not the manual forms):

1. Installation of the small generation unit
2. Complete the assignment form (if adding panels to existing system also complete Additional Capacity information on STC Assignment Form)
3. Email forms accompanied with the following documents
   1. Electrical Compliance Certificate (for all PV System) (for SHW systems installed  where state regulations require),
   2. Plumbing Certificate of Compliance  (SHW Only)
   3. Proof of Purchase (Invoice from Installer to Customer)
   4. For STC Payment - Complete Payment Directive Completed on STC Assignment Form or if payment is being made to the system owner of a commercial property please supply a tax Invoice for the STCs  (only include GST where system owner is registered for GST) - GST Explained
   5. Proof of System, inverter, compliance plate on panel and inverter showing model (for PV systems - Photos) .
   6. Photo of Tank Compliance Plate and System Installed (for solar hot water & heat pumps) - Showing serial number
   7. Proof of panel serial numbers (photo of each serial on the panel) - for PV Only
   8. For SHW Greater than 700 ltres - Two Stat Decs completed (download from FORMS section)
   9. Proof of inverter serial numbers (PV only - Photos)

Once Trade In Green has received all necessary paperwork lodgment will be completed with the regulator and you will be contacted via email usually on the same day with a confirmation number and payment date.
