Updated 03/03/2026: DCCEEW STC purchase shortfall

The DCCEEW stated ‘We aim to make purchases in a manner which minimises market impacts'.  Unfortunately this has not occured with the shortfall of STC purchases for battery STCs now exceeding 11 million certificates (> $460 million) putting tremendous strain on cashflow for businesses involved in the Cheaper Home Battery Scheme.
