How many jobs can I do in a day when installing PV and/or batteries?
With the start of the Battery STC program fast approaching the SAA have adviced the number of installs per day for solar and batteries allowable for an installer.
Transitional Arrangements from 1 July to 1 August 2025, battery systems tcan be commissioned and signed off within one of the prescribed limits as follows:
- 2 x PV system or,
- 2 x battery systems or,
- One PV and one battery system or,
- One PV system and two ‘ready to commission’ battery systems or,
- One battery system and two ‘ready to commission’ battery systems or,
- 4 x ‘ready to commission’ battery systems
Ready to commission jobs are batteries partially installed prior to 1 July 2025 then final wiring and commissioning completed from 1 July 2025.
After 1 August 20225 the following will apply:
- 2 x PV system or,
- 2 x battery systems or,
- One PV and one battery system
You can apply for exemption from SAA per existing arrangements.
