Creating Certificates – The Process

As a registered agent, Trade in Green must ensure that all paperwork meet the strict compliance regulations set by various governing bodies. Please refer to our terms and conditions.

STC Lodgement

In order to assign the certificates for creation by Trade In Green, system owners are required to follow the steps below and email (preferred), fax or post the paperwork to Trade In Green:

  1. Installation of the small generation unit
  2. Complete the assignment form (if adding panels to existing system also complete Additional Capacity information on STC Assignment Form)
  3. Email / Post or fax forms accompanied with the following documents
    1. Electrical Compliance Certificate (for all PV System) (for SHW systems installed on new buildings or where state regulations require),
    2. Plumbing Certificate of Compliance  (SHW Only)
    3. Proof of Purchase (Invoice from Installer to Customer)
    4. For STC Payment - Complete Payment Directive Completed on STC Assignment Form or if payment is being made to the system owner of a commercial property please supply a tax Invoice for the STCs  (only include GST where system owner is registered for GST) - GST Explained
    5. Copy of utility bill or rates notice showing service address - showing address where system being installed
    6. Photos of System .
    7. Photo of Tank Compliance Plate (for solar hot water & heat pumps) - Showing serial number
    8. For SHW Greater than 700 ltres - Two Stat Decs completed (download from FORMS section)

Once Trade In Green has received all necessary paperwork lodgment will be completed with the regulator and you will be contacted via email usually on the same day with a confirmation number and payment date.

VEEC Lodgement

In order to assign the certificates for creation by Trade In Green, owners are required to follow the steps below and email (preferred), fax or post the paperwork to Trade In Green:

  1. Purchase and Installation of the Water Heater, Heating/Cooling System or Appliance
  2. Complete the relevant VEEC assignment form
  3. Email / Post or fax forms accompanied with the following documents
    1. Plumbing / Electrical Compliance Certificate (Water Heating and Cooling/Heating systems only)
    2. Proof of Purchase (Invoice from Installer to Customer or Invoice from supplier for TVs etc)
    3. Water Heaters and Heating/Cooling Systems Only - Photos of old system showing hole in tank or Notice of distruction from scrap merchant
    4. For VEEC Payment - CompletePayment Directive Completed on VEEC Assignment Form or if payment is being made to the system owner of a commercial property please supply a tax Invoice for the VEECs  (only include GST where system owner is registered for GST) - GST Explained)
    5. Copy of energy bill or rates notice showing service address - Only where payment is going direct to the system/appliance owner
